flashback

I'm going through a period of reflective creative overload. I'm having flashbacks of my childhood. Of the things I loved to do. When I was in grade school the main thing I loved to do was draw. The main things I loved to draw were cars and robots. I probably spent a couple of hours each day doing so. And I want to get that back - that feeling of drawing freehand. I've decided it's time to get a Wacom tablet. Really looking forward to it.

I am from Chicago and I am hosting a benefit to raise money for Pulmonary Fibrosis research next April. I am putting together an art show that will include all forms of art. I am currently looking for artists that would be willing to donate a piece for an art auction. THe proceeds would go to a good cause. hey - thanks!

my best lens is the 24-70 2.8L, and I also really like the 50 1.4. I recently got a Tamron 28-300 VC which is pretty good for regular walk-around shots - but a bit soft on the top end. from 28-200 or so its rather usable. I have my eyes on the Canon 100 2.8 Macro, and also the 135 2.0L.
